Jet noise - Databases by Centrale Lyon
- LES database of the flow and acoustic fields of free and impinging jets - Christophe Bogey
A database of signals obtained in the flow and near pressure fields of compressible turbulent round jets computed by highly-resolved large-eddy simulations (LES) has been built up. The jets have Mach numbers between 0.5 and 3 and are free or impinge on a plate.
The jet nozzle-exit conditions, the LES parameters and the recorded signals are described in the files
LESdatabase_freejets.pdf for the free jets,
LESdatabase_impinging_jets.pdf for the jets impinging on a plate.
